The brief was to create a community report for the people of Hackney with an 'editorial feel.'

The direction behind the look and feel of the layout and image treatment throughout the report centres around two key ideas: Edge – the idea of Hackney being on the fringe of the city centre; and Against the Grain – showcasing Hackney as a truly unique and nonconformist borough.
